Volunteer!
Overview
Colorado Basenji Rescue welcomes volunteers to assist in our rescue work. The greatest need is for foster homes, but other volunteer work includes transporting dogs from shelters and to vet appointments, completing home visits for prospective adopters, and much more.
If you are interested in volunteering in one or more areas, please complete and submit our Volunteer Questionnaire. Be sure to answer all questions on the form, then click the "submit" button at the bottom of page.

Please complete our
Pre-Adoption Application even if our current Basenjis do not match your needs. We may have dogs available soon that are now in the intake process (Basenjis are listed after they are thoroughly evaluated & deemed healthy). When a dog needs emergency placement, we check our database for pre-approved applicants to foster or adopt.
